Comprehensive Pregnancy and Preconception Services

While most pregnancies progress smoothly, I also have specialised experience with:

  • Infertility, recurrent miscarriage, and preconception concerns

Your Pregnancy Journey with Me

I consult at Westmead Private and Norwest Private Hospitals. Please contact me as soon as your pregnancy is confirmed to schedule your first antenatal appointment.

What to bring:

  • Referral from your GP and relevant medical reports
  • Pathology and scan results
  • Medicare and health fund details (if applicable)

Antenatal Visit Schedule:

  • Initial visit: 8–10 weeks
  • Every 4 weeks until 28 weeks
  • Fortnightly until 36 weeks
  • Weekly until birth

Advanced Monitoring & Testing

You’ll receive a bedside ultrasound at every appointment using the latest technology. Extra visits will be scheduled if any concerns arise. I’ll guide you through each stage, including:

First Visit Tests:

  • Full blood count, ferritin, VDRL, Hepatitis B & C, HIV
  • Rubella immunity, blood group, antibodies, varicella, parvovirus, thyroid

11–14 Weeks:

  • Optional Non-Invasive Prenatal Test (NIPT) for genetic screening
  • Nuchal translucency ultrasound (optional)

18–20 Weeks:

  • Detailed morphology ultrasound

26–28 Weeks:

  • Repeat blood count, iron studies, gestational diabetes screen

36–37 Weeks:

  • Group B Streptococcus vaginal swab

During the second half of your pregnancy, I will prepare you for labour and discuss your birth preferences, supporting your choices and wellbeing every step of the way.
